Cybersecurity

Security assessment, protection and recovery planning for your systems and data.
  • The problem

Most organisations discover a security weakness after an incident rather than before one. Unpatched systems, shared credentials and untested backups are common and rarely visible.

  • What we do

We assess your exposure, implement appropriate controls across endpoints, networks and access, and put tested backup and recovery arrangements in place.

  • The outcome

Reduced risk, controlled access to business systems, and a recovery plan that has been tested rather than assumed.

In practice

Security work begins with an assessment of what you currently have, what it protects, and where the practical exposure lies. Recommendations are proportionate to the size and risk profile of the organisation.

Implementation covers the areas that account for most incidents: endpoint protection, controlled access, email security, patching discipline and staff awareness.

Backups are configured and then tested. A backup that has never been restored is not a backup.

What this covers

  • Security assessments and audits
  • Vulnerability scanning
  • Firewall configuration and management
  • Endpoint protection deployment
  • Access control and user permissions
  • Multi-factor authentication rollout
  • Email security and anti-phishing
  • Backup and disaster recovery planning
  • Data protection compliance support
  • Security awareness training

What you receive

  • Security assessment report
  • Prioritised remediation plan
  • Configured protection and access controls
  • Backup and recovery procedure, tested
  • Staff awareness training

Our process

A defined delivery process

Every engagement follows the same six stages, so you always know the current position, what it costs, and what must be completed before the next stage begins.

  1. 01

    Discovery

We review your current systems and processes with the teams that use them, and define the objectives, scope and constraints of the engagement.

  2. 02

    Proposal

You receive a written proposal setting out the recommended approach, deliverables, timeline and costs, for approval before any work begins.

  3. 03

    Design

Interface designs, system architecture and, where relevant, site plans are produced and signed off while changes remain straightforward.

  4. 04

    Development

Work is delivered in defined stages you can review and test, with regular progress updates throughout the engagement.

  5. 05

    Deployment

Installation, data migration and user training are completed, and source code, documentation and account credentials are formally handed over.

  6. 06

    Support

Ongoing maintenance, technical support and further development under an agreed service level.
